About this product

Soba Tray- Stackable, Red

Product Overview

The 1-532-2 soba tray places a pale slatted mat inside a square black upper rim and a deep red outer frame. Small cutaways along the lower edges give the base a raised appearance, setting this design apart from a flat serving plate.

Use the framed square surface for a cold soba course with dipping sauce served separately. The tray is designed to stack, and the mat lifts away from its support. Its strong red-and-black contrast pairs naturally with plain sauce cups and restrained condiment dishes.

A square frame for cold noodles

The pale insert fills the square opening, with a black border separating it from the red exterior. This layered color arrangement draws attention toward the noodle serving.

Stackable form

Trays are designed to stack between services.

Red and black frame

Black upper rim contrasts with the red outer walls.

Separate slatted mat

The insert lifts clear of the supporting frame.

1-532-2 square red and black soba tray with chilled noodles

Cold soba in a square setting

Set a modest serving of chilled soba on the slatted mat, with dipping sauce and small garnishes alongside the tray. Leaving the black rim and pale slats visible keeps the red-and-black frame part of the presentation.

1-532-2 soba tray frame and separate slatted mat on a counter

Prepare the tray and mat separately

The slatted mat lifts clear of the open supporting frame. Arrange the two components on a counter before assembling the tray for the noodle course.
