Installation

Install on a noncombustible countertop. Allow 12 inches at the back and sides next to combustible construction; no rear or side clearance is required next to noncombustible construction. Keep ventilation and service access unobstructed. A qualified gas installer must confirm the fuel configuration, regulated supply and local requirements. The upstream manual shutoff valve is supplied by the user. Keep flammable liquids and vapors away; the installer must leak-test gas connections without a flame.

Cleaning and maintenance

Let the unit cool and close the manual gas shutoff before cleaning. Inspect the grease pan frequently and empty it as needed. Clean exterior surfaces and grates regularly with mild detergent and hot water. Avoid cleaners containing acid, mineral spirits or xylene. Check combustion and ventilation airflow at least weekly; use qualified service for burner maintenance.

Warranty

U.S. limited parts-and-labor coverage runs one year from original installation or 15 months from manufacturer shipment, whichever comes first. Original-purchaser, authorized-service, geographic and travel restrictions apply.
