Product Overview

The 006039 bamboo cooking chopsticks give you a 45 cm reach, approximately 17¾ inches, for lifting and separating ingredients. The long, plain shafts taper toward the working ends, keeping the grip well back from the food.

One natural-colored pair is supplied, with a cord joining the upper ends. Use the two narrow tips to handle individual pieces or lift a small portion of noodles; a separate spoon or spatula is better for food that needs broad support.

Reach across the preparation vessel

The long shafts extend your reach into a wide vessel while your hand remains behind the working tips. Check the depth and width of the cookware, and leave enough room to open and close the pair comfortably.

Use a light grip to pick up individual ingredients, separate noodles or arrange a small portion for serving. Keep the receiving bowl close so food travels a short distance.

The narrow tips provide two small contact points rather than a broad lifting surface. Use a spoon, skimmer or spatula when fragile or heavy food needs support underneath.

Care for the bamboo and connecting cord

Hand-wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge, then rinse and dry the shafts and cord thoroughly. Avoid leaving the bamboo soaking or putting it away while damp.

Store the joined pair in a dry place with the tips protected from knocks. Check the bamboo for roughness or cracks and replace damaged chopsticks before further use.
