Product Overview

The RFR-13 Rain Forest plate uses an egg-shaped oval instead of a conventional rectangle. Dark green tones move across the porcelain surface, while a darker raised edge follows the rounded, slightly uneven outline.

The 12 by 7-inch format provides a broad central serving area with a softer perimeter than a straight-sided platter. Its low, rounded form can support a grouped sushi or appetizer presentation while keeping the dark green finish visible at the edges.

RFR-13 dark-green egg-shaped porcelain plate with a serving

Follow the curved perimeter when placing the food

A grouped arrangement can echo the oval rather than forming a rigid straight line. Leave the darker edge visible around the serving so the egg-shaped outline remains recognizable at the table.

Egg-Shaped Oval

A rounded outline rather than straight rectangular corners.

Dark-Green Rain Forest Finish

Subtle tonal variation across the porcelain center.

12 × 7 inches

An elongated serving area for sushi and appetizers.

A low profile with a clearly defined edge

From the side, the dark border rises above the gently shaped center without becoming a deep bowl wall. The elongated oval provides serving space while retaining a low tabletop silhouette.

Choose the outline as part of the setting

An oval brings a softer shape beside square bowls and straight rectangular platters. Arrange dumplings or other appetizers through the center, leaving the dark raised edge visible around the serving.
