Low rim, recessed center
The side view shows how the A2807 differs from an ordinary shallow dinner plate. Its central well projects beneath a broad, low rim, while the outer edge sweeps away from the food area. The plain white surface keeps the change in contour visible without adding a colored band or printed decoration. Use that silhouette to distinguish a focused plated course from other dishes in the setting, such as an open-center round plate or a square side bowl. The documented 13½-inch size is the overall diameter across the rim. It does not describe the inner well, the height of the center or a volume of food. Leave the broad border open to frame a centered serving.
