Make room for the whisking step with this Japanese ceramic matcha bowl. Its wide opening and rounded form give the whisk a dedicated preparation space, while the white glaze, brown speckles and slender blue rim create a quiet decorative finish. Subtle horizontal ridges run around the body, and the gently uneven rim gives the outline an individual character.

The bowl holds 18 fl oz and measures 5 inches in diameter by 3 inches high. Made in Japan, it is dishwasher and microwave safe. Matcha is a powdered green tea that is whisked with water before drinking; use your own whisk and scoop with this bowl, or choose the coordinating set when you want those tools together. The light interior lets the green tea stand out during preparation and serving.
