Product Overview

The L-8582 is a narrow rectangular plastic sushi mold with separate clear shaping components. Its long frame and matching ribbed pieces offer a defined molding format for the preparation area, distinct from flexible bamboo rolling mats and individual rice-ball molds.

The mold measures 8 by 1½ inches and stands 1½ inches high. Made in Japan and supplied as one package, it keeps the shaping components together in a compact format that can be placed beside the rice, nori and other sushi-preparation tools.

Give the mold a clear working area

Set the frame and matching pieces on a clear preparation surface, with enough room to handle each component separately. Keep the rice and nori nearby while leaving the cutting board and finished serving pieces their own spaces.

Narrow rectangular frame

The mold has a long, narrow rectangular form.

Separate matching components

The clear frame and ribbed shaping pieces are separate parts of the assembly.

8-inch format

Overall dimensions are 8 × 1½ × 1½ inches high.

Keep the frame and ribbed pieces together

The separate components share a long rectangular outline, with ribbing along the shaping surfaces. Keep the matching parts together during setup and storage rather than combining them with pieces from molds of a different size or form.

Choose the format around the preparation task

Compare the overall 8-inch mold format with multi-cavity sushi molds before planning the station. Different designs organize the rice in different ways, so select the molding form first and then arrange the surrounding rolling, cutting and serving tools.
