PX Hearthbake Series | Model PX-16

The Bakers Pride® model PX-16 oven is designed for warming and finishing a variety of precooked items, such as hot wings and pizza and pretzels with prebaked crust. This model offers a 3" deck height and comes with features including independent top and bottom heat controls, a slide-out wire rack, and a 15-minute, electric timer with continuous-ring alarm and manual shut-off. This model comes with a stainless steel exterior and 1" black legs. International voltages are available.

  • Audible timer: The continuous alarm needs manual attention; it does not turn off oven heat.
  • Three-inch cooking clearance: A single wire-rack cooking level, rather than an included stone deck.

Plan your installation

Use a noncombustible support surface and allow at least 3 inches on the left, right and rear. Leave room for the handle, loading and removal of the rack. Confirm the assembled height with feet and actual rack dimensions before preparing cabinetry or ordering fitted pans.

Have the installer verify the exact factory configuration, voltage, wattage and plug on the delivered rating plate before connection. Match the grounded electrical supply and receptacle to that unit; a separately manufactured international-voltage version does not make this oven universal-voltage. Follow local installation and ventilation requirements and keep combustible materials off the oven.

Operation and care

Follow the supplied startup procedure in a well-ventilated area because initial heating can release smoke or fumes. Preheat until the thermostat indicator has cycled three times. Keep the door open only as long as needed for loading. Clean only when the oven is cold, wipe stainless steel in the direction of its grain and use factory-authorized service for repairs.

Warranty

The one-year limited equipment warranty begins at installation or six months after factory shipment, whichever comes first. Original-purchaser, authorized-service and territory restrictions apply. Portable-unit transportation and service terms differ from on-site service; review the policy before ordering.
