Product overview
The Turbo Air TCGB-36-W-N refrigerated bakery case provides 11.8 cu. ft. of display space behind curved tempered glass. Its minimal frame and LED lighting keep bakery products visible, while sliding rear doors provide loading access. This product is offered in white.
- 11.8 cu. ft.: Refrigerated bakery display.
- Adjustable display: Two cantilevered wire shelves with height and tilt adjustment.
- 33–41°F average: Refrigerated product presentation.
Display and cabinet construction
Low-E-coated, double-pane glass is tempered for safety. Heavy-duty white PE-coated shelves adjust vertically and tilt to arrange products at different levels. A stainless steel floor and airflow grille sit inside a cabinet foamed in place with high-density, CFC-free polyurethane insulation. Safety-shielded LED lighting illuminates the interior.
Refrigeration and controls
The self-contained system needs no plumbing. A solar-powered digital thermometer displays cabinet temperature, and the electronic thermostat controls cooling and defrost. The automatic condenser brush runs daily to prevent dust-related system failure and loss of stored products. Rear compressor-compartment access supports servicing.
R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant has zero ozone-depletion potential (ODP 0) and a global warming potential of 3. The refrigeration system is designed to meet 2017 DOE energy-conservation standards and uses an EPA SNAP-approved hydrocarbon refrigerant.

Placement and product loading
Keep the operating environment at or below 75°F and 55% relative humidity. Avoid HVAC vents, fans and doorways that disrupt the air curtain. These air-curtain cases operate most efficiently fully stocked, with products arranged to leave airflow paths clear.
Allow 3 inches behind the cabinet; keep the front condenser inlet clear. Level all corners for drainage. Have a qualified installer provide a grounded, dedicated circuit of at least 20 amps with minimum 12-AWG wiring, following the delivered manual and local requirements. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
For floor-sealed installations, seal the base as directed in the manual. Allow the case to reach its set temperature before loading; do not add hot products. Keep products away from the back wall and suction grille, within the shelf edges.
R-290 is flammable. Have the installer determine room size from the rating-plate charge and manual requirement of 1 cubic meter per 8 g. Protect tubing; do not accelerate defrost with mechanical tools. Refrigerant service requires trained personnel.
Cleaning and maintenance
Unplug before cleaning; remove products, shelves and bottom trays. Let the cabinet warm, wash with warm water and mild detergent, and wipe away residue. Keep electrical parts dry. Clean the drain beneath the bottom shelf regularly. The condenser brush may not remove grease; arrange qualified nitrogen cleaning once or twice yearly. Wait five minutes before restarting.
