Product Overview

The 600-S soba tray combines a black rectangular frame, a fine red inner border and a pale green slatted plastic mat. The raised end walls give the nine-inch-long tray a distinct silhouette around the cold noodle serving, while the green insert adds color without a printed pattern.

The mat lifts out of the dark tray, making the two parts clear when arranging or clearing the place setting. Serve dipping sauce in a separate cup and keep small garnishes alongside the tray. This is a tray-and-mat format, rather than a deep bowl for broth.

600-S black and red soba tray with green mat and chilled noodles

Cold noodles within a dark frame

Arrange chilled soba over the pale green mat and serve dipping sauce separately. The raised black ends and fine red border frame the noodles while leaving a strip of the green surface visible.

Contrasting green insert

Pale green plastic mat sits within black and red borders.

Separate components

The mat lifts away from the tray.

Nine-inch length

The tray measures nine inches long.

600-S soba tray and separate green plastic mat on a counter

A separate mat and tray

The removable plastic mat lifts away from the dark tray interior. Set the two pieces alongside one another during preparation, then return the mat to its rectangular frame for service.

Raised ends around the noodle serving

The end walls rise above the lower side edges. This rectangular profile provides a different presentation from a low round soba plate.
