3″ Stainless Steel Tea Strainer — Green Handle, Made in Japan

A shallow stainless steel mesh basket sits inside a round rim, with a green-accented handle at one side and a small support loop opposite it. The open basket is designed for straining a pour rather than enclosing the leaves in a closed tea ball. Its simple form keeps the mesh area accessible during preparation and cleanup.

Made in Japan, the strainer measures 3 inches in diameter and 5½ inches in overall length. Position it above a separately selected cup or pot while pouring brewed tea through the mesh, checking that the rim and support loop sit securely on the receiving vessel. Hand wash after use. Cups, teapots and tea shown or used with the strainer are separate accessories.
