Product Overview

Fine bamboo strips and white binding rows form the flexible working surface of this skinless makisu. The light bamboo appearance gives the mat a simple, practical character for laying out nori and shaping a sushi roll.

Keep the mat flat for assembly, then use its flexible structure as the roll takes shape. A rice spatula, a separate cutting board and small dishes for fillings can be arranged around it to create a focused preparation area without crowding the bamboo surface.
