About this product

Tea Strainer

Product Overview

The 6592-70 tea strainer combines a fine stainless steel mesh basket with a short bamboo handle. Its round rim outlines the open basket, while the pale handle extends from a small metal connector. The 62–69 mm size range distinguishes it from the other 6592 strainers without changing the basic mesh-and-handle design.

Use the basket to separate loose tea leaves from the served tea. The size-selection image shows the neighboring 6592 models together, making it easier to choose the appropriate range for your tea ware. Check your intended cup or pot opening before choosing a size; the model number alone does not establish compatibility with a particular vessel. Made in Japan; hand wash only.

Fine mesh with a short bamboo grip

The close product view shows the mesh basket, circular rim and small bamboo grip. The fine mesh surrounds the basket so tea can pass through while loose leaves remain separated.

Bamboo handle

6592-70 fine mesh basket held by the short bamboo grip

The fine mesh basket in hand

Held by its short bamboo grip, the inverted strainer shows the fine woven mesh, tapered basket and narrow circular rim. Its 62–69 mm size range identifies this individual model; the cup and linen in the scene are separate.

Preparing the open basket

The upright view shows the mesh interior as a small pinch of loose tea is added. The short bent connector and bamboo grip remain visible; loose tea, cup and towel are contextual and not included with the strainer.
