2″ Stainless Steel Mesh Tea Ball with Chain — Made in Japan

The V319 tea ball combines a rounded stainless steel mesh enclosure with an attached chain and hook. Its two mesh sides meet at a narrow metal rim, enclosing a portion of loose tea while allowing it to steep in a separate vessel. This is the 2-inch model in the V-series range.

Made in Japan, the tea ball measures 2 inches in diameter. Choose it according to the opening and available space in your cup or pot, and use the chain to position and retrieve it during preparation. Hand wash after use. The comparison photograph shows several V-series sizes together; this item includes one V319 tea ball, not the full range, and no tea or brewing vessel.
