A raised tab changes the outline
One side of the bowl extends upward into a broad tab handle, breaking the otherwise rounded outline. The pale blue interior is bordered by a dark edge, and the black outer wall rests above a short circular foot. This low asymmetric form is visually distinct from the matching rice bowls and plain round dipping dishes. Let the extended side remain clear of neighboring pieces when arranging the setting, and pair the bowl with a long plate to give the dipping sauce its own defined place beside the food.
