The Zojirushi THA-803S commercial electric rice warmer is designed specifically for holding already-cooked rice at serving temperature during restaurant service. Its 8-liter capacity, traditionally marketed as 44 rice cups, supports high-volume rice holding for restaurants, sushi bars, buffets, catering operations, and other foodservice kitchens without confusing the unit with a rice cooker.

Zojirushi's electric warming system helps maintain freshly cooked rice without excessive drying, scorching, or yellowing during holding. A removable nonstick inner pan simplifies serving and cleanup, while the detachable washable inner lid supports routine sanitation. The stainless steel commercial body operates at only 77 watts and can also hold other prepared foods warm when appropriate.
