The Zojirushi NS-TSC10-XJ is a Stainless Brown household Micom rice cooker and warmer with a maximum uncooked white-rice capacity of 5.5 rice-measuring cups, or 1.0 liter. Microcomputer-based fuzzy-logic control adjusts cooking time and temperature, while separate rice menus, Steam and Cake programs give each task its own settings.

White, sushi and quick-cooking batches range from 1 to 5.5 supplied rice cups. Mixed, sweet, brown and porridge menus have lower limits. The supplied cup measures approximately 180 mL of raw rice; use the appropriate menu and inner-pan water line rather than treating the headline capacity as a cooked yield or a limit for every recipe.

A clear-coated stainless steel exterior surrounds a black thick nonstick inner pan. The inner lid detaches for cleaning, and the included steaming basket supports standalone steaming or the manual’s smaller rice-and-food batches. The LCD panel has a 24-hour clock, two finish-time memories and selectable melody, beep or silent signals.

The Steam timer can be set from 1 to 60 minutes, including water heat-up. The Cake timer ranges from 1 to 60 minutes; follow the manual’s recipes and its 120 g / 4.2 oz all-purpose-flour limit. Do not add baking powder or baking soda. Cake and Steam do not use Keep Warm; remove the food at completion and press Cancel.

After rice cooking, the unit changes automatically to Regular Keep Warm. Extended Keep Warm uses a lower temperature and returns to Regular after eight hours. The manual’s overall 12-hour limit and food restrictions still apply. Reheat is only for already-warm white rice, not cold rice or other foods.

The NS-TSC10 requires AC 120V, 60Hz power and is rated at 610W for cooking. Its built-in retractable cord is 1.0 meter long. Zojirushi’s official store lists exterior dimensions of 10-1/8 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 8-1/2 inches high, cETLus certification and manufacture in China. Allow space for the lid and escaping steam, and at least 45 minutes of cooling between consecutive rice batches.

Measured rice cooking in the removable pan

The NS-TSC10-XJ uses this removable cooking pan for measured rice batches. Its listed construction is black thick nonstick inner pan. Use the supplied rice measure and the correct menu-specific water level; the headline capacity is an uncooked-rice maximum, not a serving count. Follow the exact-model cleaning instructions and protect the pan surface from abrasive tools.

A dedicated basket for steaming

The included basket gives the NS-TSC10-XJ a dedicated way to steam suitable foods. Follow the Steam program’s instructions for water quantity, ingredients and time. If using the manual’s rice-and-food method, apply its reduced rice capacity rather than filling to the ordinary maximum rice line.

Removable inner lid for everyday care

Remove the NS-TSC10-XJ inner lid as directed for routine washing. The listed inner-lid design is detachable and washable. Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before care. Follow separate body, pan, lid, steam-vent and basket instructions; do not immerse the electrical body or use a dishwasher/dish-dryer.
