About this product

Black Lacquer Tempura Basket with Handle, Basket: 6-7/8"D x 1-1/2"H

Product Overview

Frame a small tempura course with the sweeping arch and glossy black lattice of this handled basket. Its shallow round body measures 6⅞ inches across and 1½ inches high, with a scalloped band around the rim. Pair it with a separate dipping bowl and a paper liner for a composed appetizer presentation.

Black lacquer basket with a tall arched handle and scalloped rim

An arch above the lattice

A tall curved handle and scalloped rim define the DJ-25-0017. The open basket body keeps the serving area visually light, while its glossy black finish gives a strong contrast to pale tableware.

6⅞-inch basket body

The round body is 6⅞ inches in diameter and 1½ inches high, below the arch.

Scalloped black lattice

Glossy openwork meets a gently scalloped band around the circular rim.

Arched-handle presentation

A tall arch rises above the shallow basket for a distinctive tempura setting.

Tempura basket with a small tempura assortment

A small tempura course

Arrange a modest selection of shrimp and vegetables over a paper liner within the 6⅞-inch basket. A separate sauce bowl completes the setting without crowding the shallow serving area.

Golden bites on a dark frame

Small croquettes offer another way to use the shallow round format. Leave the black lattice and scalloped edge visible around the food for a restrained appetizer presentation.
