Product Overview

A curved blue band gives this clear rectangular plate a distinctive setting for small savory servings and desserts. The transparent plastic body has softly waved sides, gently lifted corners and a recessed rectangular center traced by molded lines. Measuring 12 inches long by 8⅜ inches wide and 1¼ inches high, the 1-681-33 provides a smaller footprint than the coordinating 14-inch platter.

Arrange dumplings in a loose row or place petite desserts apart so the clear surface and blue streak remain visible. Keep a dipping sauce or fruit accompaniment in a separate dish rather than filling every part of the plate. For a dessert course, add small forks, spoons and tea service; for appetizers, choose chopsticks and individual condiment dishes. The larger 1-681-34 gives the same presentation more room for grouped portions.

The recessed center is outlined by molded rectangular lines, while the blue band curves through the well and toward the sides. A gently irregular edge gives the plate a different profile from a straight, flat rectangle. Its clear areas allow the tabletop to remain part of the presentation.
