Service, loading and defrosting

Pre-chill ingredients in a refrigerator and run the empty case for about one hour before loading. Keep food no higher than 3.5 inches above the interior bottom and minimize door openings. This is a service display, not overnight storage: return food to a refrigerator after service and switch off the case for at least 1–2 hours to defrost. Defrost during the day if frost reduces cooling, with food held in a refrigerator. Wait at least three minutes before restarting.

Counter and installation requirements

Install indoors in a 50–80°F environment away from direct sunlight and heat. Support the entire base on a firm, level counter and seal the perimeter with silicone as directed in the installation manual. Leave at least 6 inches at the condenser air inlet and outlet, open space above, and access to the rear switch and filter. Use an independent, grounded three-prong supply matched to the nameplate.

The drain hose connects to either side joint. Maintain more than 2 vertical inches of air gap above the sink or floor drain. Have qualified personnel install and service the case; do not puncture refrigerant tubing or use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting.

Cleaning and care

Unplug before cleaning or maintenance. Clean the interior and food plates daily with a soft cloth, warm water and neutral cleaner; do not use scourers or water jets, and keep the machine compartment dry. Check the air filter at least twice a month and wash it when clogged. Keep tableware and sharp objects from striking the glass. Follow the installation and operation manual for drain sanitation and detailed maintenance.
