Black Rectangular Melamine Plate (IT-Y19B)

The IT-Y19B black melamine plate provides a plain rectangular center for sushi, appetizers or an arranged course. Raised sides and lifted corners outline the serving area above a low base, giving the long form definition on the table. Its unpatterned dark surface creates contrast around lighter ingredients, vegetables and garnishes, allowing the food to supply the main color within the presentation.

Arrange individual pieces in a row or group the components of a dish with black surface visible between them. The rectangular outline gives the serving a natural direction without adding decorative motifs around it. Pair the plate with square black bowls for separate courses, or add round black plates to vary the shapes within one palette. Wooden chopsticks and a dark tea cup complete the setting, while a white sauce dish gives a dipping accompaniment a contrasting place beside the main serving.
