Product Overview

The JX79-6 sushi set uses a pale central field surrounded by a deep blue border. The blue finish gathers around the raised edges of the rectangular plates and smaller matching dishes, outlining the food without covering the center with a printed design.

The six-piece format combines two ceramic plates, two ceramic sauce dishes and two pairs of wooden chopsticks. It creates a matched setting for two diners while allowing sushi, condiments and utensils to be arranged separately on the table.

JX79-6 blue sushi plate and sauce dish set with wooden chopsticks

Use the pale center to frame a small serving

A compact arrangement of sushi leaves a band of the pale center visible between the food and the blue rim. This open space keeps the plate from looking crowded and preserves the contrast that defines the design.

Blue Border

A saturated blue edge frames the pale center of each ceramic piece.

Six-Piece Set

Two plates, two small dishes and two pairs of wooden chopsticks.

Separate Serving Areas

The larger rectangles hold food while the small dishes hold condiments.

JX79-6 blue and pale-center sushi set for two with cucumber maki and separate dipping dishes

Keep the dipping sauce beside the sushi

Give each diner a small dish for dipping rather than pouring sauce over the main plate. The separate pieces make it easy to adjust the sauce with each bite while keeping the pale serving center clear.

JX79-6 blue and pale-center set serving small gyoza portions at two linen-covered place settings

A second course without changing the setting

The same paired plates and sauce dishes can serve a few dumplings for each diner. Add tea cups or a shared bowl separately, allowing the two coordinated place settings to carry the blue border through the meal.
