A continuous geometric pattern
Silver-gray angular lines interlock across the black surface, continuing from the outside wall into the bowl rather than stopping at a decorated rim. The repeated design gives the serving a different character from irregularly mottled or pictorial bowls. Simple supporting pieces let that pattern remain legible: a plain white sauce dish adds contrast, while a dark spoon or rest keeps the palette restrained.
