The Zojirushi NHS-06WB is a white single-switch rice cooker with a maximum uncooked white-rice capacity of 3 supplied rice cups. Its removable glass lid provides a view into the pan, while the knob and side handles are designed to stay cool. Zojirushi specifies this series for household use.

Use the supplied approximately 180 mL measuring cup for 1–3 cups of white rice or 1–2 cups of brown rice. Follow the matching pan marks and the manual’s separate brown-rice water table. The maximum cup count describes uncooked rice, not cooked servings. Rinse rice in a separate bowl to protect the nonstick pan.

When cooking completes, the switch rises and the NHS-06 automatically switches off. It has no Keep Warm function and does not include a steaming basket. Leave white rice covered for about 15 minutes after cooking, then loosen it with the supplied spatula.

The directly mounted cord ends in a polarized plug. A rice measuring cup and nonstick spatula are included. This compact model uses the same simple switch for the manual’s white- and brown-rice methods without a digital menu selector.

After use, unplug the cooker and let it cool before cleaning. Wash the inner pan and glass lid in hot, soapy water without abrasives, and keep the heater surface and outside bottom of the pan free of residue. Do not immerse the cooker body or electrical cord in water.

One switch and a Cooking indicator

The NHS-06WB uses one cooking switch and a single Cooking indicator. At the end of the rice-cooking cycle the switch rises and the cooker switches off; it does not change to Keep Warm. Follow the supplied measuring and water instructions, then allow white rice to rest covered for the manual’s approximately 15-minute period before loosening.

Use the supplied approximately 180 mL cup and the model’s white- or brown-rice limits. The nominal capacity is uncooked rice, not cooked yield or serving count. Follow the separate brown-rice water table and rinse rice outside the inner pan. NHS-06 has no Keep Warm function or supplied steaming basket. Its cooking switch rises and the unit automatically switches off when cooking finishes. Leave white rice covered for about 15 minutes after cooking and brown rice for about 10 minutes, then loosen or serve as directed. Manufacturer recipe times are operating examples; check doneness. The cord is directly mounted and the plug is polarized. Unplug and let the appliance cool before cleaning. Keep the body and electrical parts dry.
