Product Overview

The WO-17-6 sushi oke combines a wide black serving interior with a red rim and gold-toned patterned exterior. Its round, low-sided shape offers a 14¼-inch diameter for arranging a shared sushi selection.

Made in Japan from plastic with a lacquer finish, the container stands 2⅝ inches high and requires hand washing. Other WO-17 sizes repeat the circular oke form and decorative exterior, allowing the same style to be used across different serving footprints.

Arrange the selection around the round form

Spread the sushi selection across the circular interior with space between portions. The black background provides a consistent setting for the food, while the red rim marks the edge of the serving area.

Round serving interior

A broad black interior enclosed by low circular sides.

Decorative exterior

Gold-toned motifs surround the dark outer wall beneath a red rim.

Lacquer-finished plastic

Plastic construction with a lacquer finish and hand-wash care.

Leave the patterned side visible

The gold-toned exterior decoration is most apparent from the side. Give the oke a clear place on the table rather than surrounding it with taller bowls that hide the pattern, and keep individual sauce dishes nearby.

Choose the diameter for the table

Compare the 14¼-inch footprint with smaller and larger WO-17 oke before planning the setting. Support the full round base on a level tabletop, and include hand washing in the clearing routine after service.
