The JBS-A55UKY is a compact 3-cup Micom cooker for small household batches, rather than a commercial warmer. Its ceramic-coated inner pan and dedicated rice, Slow Cook and Cake programs let one countertop appliance handle distinct recipes while keeping their quantity limits separate.

The Tiger JBS-A55U, supplied here under the Black JBS-A55UKY SKU, is a compact Japanese-made Micom rice cooker and warmer with a ceramic-coated inner pot. White, Eco, Quick and Long-grain menus accept 0.5–3 supplied rice cups. Its nominal 0.54-liter rating uses the approximately 0.18-liter uncooked-rice measure and is not a serving count.

Ten menus cover everyday rice and more: White, Eco, Quick, Long-grain, Mixed, Porridge, Brown, GABA, Slow Cook and Cake. Mixed or sweet rice is limited to 0.5–2 supplied cups, as are plain Brown and GABA batches. Brown rice with added ingredients is limited to 0.5–1 cup; Firm Porridge allows 0.5–0.75 cup, reduced to 0.5 cup when ingredients are added.

The LCD shows the selected menu and timing information. Eligible rice menus can be set to finish 2–12 hours later in half-hour steps, with at least five hours allowed for GABA. Quick, Mixed, Slow Cook and Cake do not use the delayed timer. White-rice Keep Warm is limited to 12 hours and at least half a supplied cup; serve other rice preparations promptly.

Slow Cook runs from 1–120 minutes, with different minimum fill marks for short and longer programs. Cake runs from 5–80 minutes in five-minute steps. Both offer limited additional heating after the initial cycle. Follow the supplied recipe quantities and serving directions; the three-cup white-rice capacity is not a general food or batter limit.

The removable inner lid and ceramic-coated pot are designed for hand cleaning. Open the inner lid’s steam-cap unit to clean it, then close and lock it before reassembly. A free-standing spatula and measuring cup are included. The carrying handle and detachable approximately 0.90-meter power cord make storage and movement convenient once the cooker has cooled.

Rated at 360W on 120V / 60Hz, the cooker measures approximately 24.7 centimeters wide by 27.8 centimeters deep by 19.2 centimeters high. The lid needs approximately 38.5 centimeters of open height. Use a separate outlet rated at least 15A and keep at least 30 centimeters from walls and furniture.
