The TZ901-B gives a compact sushi serving a glossy black boat-shaped outline. A pointed, lifted bow leads into the wider main section, with a transverse divider separating the forward area from the larger open center.

The plastic plate has a lacquer finish and measures 11½ by 5½ by 1½ inches. Its undecorated black surface provides a restrained alternative to the matching red TZ901-R while keeping the same distinctive boat form.
