About this product

Product type: Sake masu cup
Finish: Lacquer
Size: 3 in square
Color: Black exterior, red interior and gold-colored design
Design: Longevity motif

Product Overview

The OMS-5 sake masu presents a square cup in a black-and-red lacquer finish. A gold-colored longevity motif decorates the exterior, making it a distinctive alternative to a round sake cup at a Japanese-style table setting.

Its 3-inch-square format can be paired with a sake bottle or serving set and a separate tray. The open square rim and contrasting red interior make the cup easy to distinguish within a mixed collection of sake serving pieces.

A different shape for sake service

The square rim gives this masu a different visual character from a round sake cup. Use it as a single place-setting piece or arrange several cups on a tray when presenting sake at the table.

Black and red

Black outside with a contrasting red interior.

Longevity motif

Gold-colored decorative motif on the exterior.

Make the motif part of the setting

The gold-colored longevity design is centered on the black exterior. Face the decorated side toward the guest to keep the motif visible, with the red interior adding a contrasting color at the rim.

Coordinate cups and serving pieces

The compact square shape works alongside separate sake bottles and small tabletop dishes. Keep the surrounding arrangement simple so the black, red and gold-colored finish remains the focal point of the cup setting.
