Product Overview

Effortlessly prepare large quantities of delicious rice with the touch of a button. This rice cooker features an insulated housing to save power and keep food warm for up to 5 hours. The Heavy Duty non-stick pan makes cleanup quick and easy.

The Panasonic SR-UH36FH is a North American commercial rice cooker and warmer with a 20-cup uncooked capacity and a removable nonstick inner pan. Its exact-model manual specifies batches of 5–20 supplied rice cups, or 1.0–3.6 liters, using the included approximately 180 mL measure.

One cooking switch starts the cycle, and separate Rice Cooking and Keep Warm lamps show the operating stage. After cooking, the unit changes automatically to warming. The manual recommends leaving the lid closed for another 15 minutes before gently mixing the rice.

Prepare rice with the matching inner pan

The hinged outer lid contains a removable inner lid, while a side dew collector catches condensation. Rinse rice in a separate bowl to protect the coating, use the appropriate white-rice or sushi-rice water line, and dry the outside of the pan before seating it against the heater.

Care for the pan and cooking station

Keep Warm is intended for freshly cooked rice and should not exceed five hours. It is not a cold-rice reheating mode. After each use, unplug and cool the cooker, wash the inner pan and inner lid with a soft sponge, and remove, clean and sanitize the dew collector. Wipe the body and outer lid rather than immersing the appliance.
