Product Overview

The WO-17-2 brings the decorative sushi oke style to a compact 9⅝-inch-diameter format. Its brown exterior carries gold-toned motifs, while a red rim outlines the black circular serving area.

The Japanese-made container is plastic with a lacquer finish and stands 2¼ inches high. Choose it for a smaller sushi assortment when the table does not call for a large centerpiece, and coordinate larger servings with other patterned WO-17 oke.

Compose a smaller sushi assortment

Use the circular center to group a few different pieces with space between them. Keeping the arrangement inside the red rim leaves a clear border, while individual dipping dishes can sit beside the oke rather than taking up its serving area.

Compact round format

Measures 9⅝ inches across and 2¼ inches high.

Decorated outer wall

Gold-toned motifs contrast with the brown outer wall.

Black serving interior

The round black serving area sits inside a red-edged rim.

Make room for the exterior decoration

The patterned wall remains visible from a low viewing angle. Place the oke where surrounding bowls and bottles will not hide the gold-toned motifs, and keep taller service pieces toward the back of the setting.

Match the serving size without changing the style

Larger WO-17 oke carry the same round form and decorative treatment. Compare their diameters when planning different portions or table sizes, and hand wash this lacquer-finished piece after service.
