The JCC-2700FG is a commercial rice cooker and warmer, not a thermal storage jar. Its 15-cup uncooked-rice capacity serves a different job from commercial warmers whose cup ratings describe rice already cooked. Prepare the correct rice-and-water load before starting, then follow the model’s holding and cleaning directions.
The Tiger JCC-2700FG is a white electric rice cooker and warmer. Its white-rice cooking range is 7–15 supplied rice cups, equivalent to 1.26–2.7 liters of uncooked rice measured with the approximately 0.18-liter cup. The capacity is a rice-measuring basis, rather than a count of servings.
A single switch starts cooking, and separate Rice Cooking and Keep Warm lamps show the operating mode. When cooking changes over to Keep Warm, leave the lid closed for about 15 minutes before stirring and loosening the rice. The manual calls for a 30-minute soak before cooking.
Keep Warm is for white rice, including rinse-free white rice, for no more than 12 hours. The manual specifies a minimum holding amount of seven cups. For warmer-only operation, preheat the inner pot for 20–30 minutes before adding freshly cooked rice. Do not use it to bring cold rice back to serving temperature.
The nonstick inner pot, removable inner lid, steam cap and dew collector support routine care. Wash rice in a separate bowl to protect the coating, use soft utensils and hand-wash removable parts after unplugging and cooling the unit. The U.S. product page lists a spatula, ladle and rice measuring cup as included accessories.
The U.S. model is rated at 850W on 120V / 60Hz and has a retractable cord with a polarized plug. Approximate dimensions are 12.6 inches wide by 14.9 inches deep by 13.9 inches high. Use a dedicated outlet rated at least 15A, and keep the cooker at least 11.8 inches / 30 centimeters from walls and furniture.
