Product Overview

For moist, uniformly cooked rice, heat is evenly generated and distributed on bottom and sides of the heavy duty, removable anodized aluminum pan.

- A tight locking lid with silicone seal prevents drying and ensures better tasting rice.

The Panasonic SR-GB42H is a commercial electric rice cooker and warmer rated for 23 supplied cups of uncooked rice, or 4.2 liters. It uses a removable anodized aluminum pan. The included rice measure holds 180 mL, so the cup rating is not a U.S. measuring-cup or serving count.

A 1,550W heater and one-touch control handle rice preparation on a 120V supply. The pan includes white-rice and sushi-rice water markings. Panasonic lists approximately 46 cups of cooked yield, but the result depends on the rice and preparation.

Measure for the actual rice batch

The 23-cup capacity uses the supplied 180 mL rice measure, not a standard U.S. cup or a fixed serving count. Use the pan’s white-rice or sushi-rice water marks to prepare the batch. One-touch operation starts cooking, and the warming function keeps cooked rice ready for service within the operating instructions.
