Clay Donabe Cooking Pot

The 400070 donabe brings a pale clay body and a red-blossom lid to the table. Red blossoms and dark branching strokes spread across the cream-colored lid. The plain lower body gives the decoration a quiet base, making the covered pot a focal point without filling the whole setting with pattern. This model holds 72 fl oz.

Let the 400070 provide the decorative center of the setting, then use simpler bowls and small plates for rice, sauces and side dishes. The round body, paired handles and matching lid work together as one presentation. Keep serving utensils beside the pot so the lid pattern remains visible before the meal is served.
