About this product

  • Material: Ceramic
  • Color: Black with multicolor lid
  • Capacity: 82 fl oz
  • Pattern: Pastel bands with white blossoms; gold-colored blossoms on body

Product Overview

The D8-RW combines a black ceramic body with a softly colored lid in pink, yellow, blue and violet bands. White blossoms cross the lid while small gold-colored blossoms decorate the pot below, creating a layered floral presentation rather than a single solid finish. The round vessel has an 82 fl oz capacity.

Use the colorful lid as the starting point for a coordinated table: simple rice bowls and restrained sauce dishes give the pattern room to stand out. Two side handles and the raised lid grip are integrated into the form, keeping the covered pot visually compact. The matching 30 fl oz D6-RW offers the same floral style for a smaller portion.

D8-RW covered ceramic donabe with patterned lid

A floral lid with a different color at every band

Soft bands of color circle the domed lid beneath white blossom silhouettes. The cream-colored grip and darker body frame the pattern, making this pot an expressive alternative to a plain black design.

Pastel floral lid

Pink, yellow, blue and violet bands sit beneath white blossom motifs.

82 fl oz capacity

A larger round vessel in the RW floral design.

Coordinated body

Gold-colored blossoms on the black body complement the decorated lid.

D8-RW donabe presented with a meal

A centerpiece with room for the place settings

The 82 fl oz vessel provides a substantial focal point for a shared meal. Arrange rice bowls and small plates beside it rather than crowding the decorated lid with extra serving pieces.

D8-RW coordinated donabe table setting

Keep the floral look across sizes

The smaller D6-RW repeats the pastel-banded lid and blossom-decorated black body. Pair the two capacities when the menu calls for different portion formats but the table should still feel coordinated.
