About this product

Choose the AG-111 when you want a long rubber cutting board with less counter coverage than the larger AG-114. Its plain face, straight edges and unframed surface give the preparation station a simple, uninterrupted working area.

Product Overview

The AG-111 is a Japanese-made rubber cutting board for an extended preparation station. Its 40 × 16-inch format gives cooks room to move along the board when trimming, slicing and organizing ingredients before service.

The plain rectangular face has no perimeter groove, raised rim or handle cutout interrupting the working area. Keep ingredient containers and utensils beside the board so the cutting surface stays available for the task at hand.

Choose this smaller AG size when the larger AG-114 would take more counter space than you need. Check the full workstation, washing area and storage position before ordering; leave room to lift and move the board as well as space for surrounding preparation tools.

Plan a complete preparation station

A long board works best when the rest of the station is arranged around it. Position ingredient containers, utensils and a receiving tray within reach, leaving the board itself available for cutting rather than equipment storage.

The AG-111 is the smaller option in this AG pair. Compare its 40 × 16-inch format with your clear counter space, then allow additional clearance for your hands, tools and the ingredients moving through the station.

A plain surface for everyday knife work

The rubber board has a simple rectangular face and straight edges. There is no perimeter groove or handle opening breaking up the surface, so you can arrange ingredients along its length to suit the preparation task.

Place the board on a clean, level support and check that it is stable before cutting. Keep the working surface clear of spare knives and containers, and separate raw and ready-to-eat preparation according to your kitchen’s food-safety routine.

Choose the size you can handle and store

AG-114 provides the larger 48 × 18-inch format when a station needs more board coverage. AG-111 is the more compact of the two, making it the starting point when counter depth and available storage matter as much as cutting area.

Include washing and drying space in the size decision. Clean the board between tasks using the care instructions for this model, then allow it to dry before storage. Confirm those instructions before using high-temperature equipment or specialized cleaning treatments.
