Product Overview

The green FMK-MG sushi rolling mat pairs flexible plastic slats with monofilament binding. Its 10 × 9.5-inch format provides a working surface for shaping rolls, and the embossed texture helps rice release instead of clinging to a smooth surface.

This medium-size Hasegawa mat offers an alternative to bamboo for the rolling station. It can be used without a plastic-wrap covering, with dishwasher-safe and bleach-safe care after service.

Shape the roll without covering the mat

Place the prepared ingredients on the mat and use the flexible slats to guide the roll into shape. The textured surface is intended for direct rolling use, including rice-outside styles, without first wrapping the mat in plastic film.

The nearly square medium format leaves room to spread the ingredients across the center before lifting the leading edge. A larger 10 × 12-inch version in the same green design provides more working depth when the preparation calls for it.
