3½″ × 2½″ Black & White Ceramic Sauce Dish — 2 fl. oz.

A pale glaze pool brightens the center of the K235-F glossy black sauce dish. Lifted corners, curved sides and a low rectangular foot give the compact ceramic form a distinctive outline, with light speckles softening the contrast between the dark walls and pale interior.

Measuring 3½ by 2½ inches and 1 inch high, the dish holds 2 fl. oz. for a dip, pickles or an individual condiment portion. Set it beside sushi or appetizers to keep sauce separate from the main serving surface.

Coordinate the dish with black-and-gray K-F plates and bowls. Their pale glazed interiors and glossy dark exteriors connect the setting, while the sauce dish's localized glaze pool contrasts with the spiral decoration on the round plates. Made in Japan, the ceramic dish is dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

Use the small dish for soy sauce, a light dip or a few pickles beside a main plate. Its raised sides contain the accompaniment within a compact footprint, while the pale glaze remains a visible accent around smaller portions. The smooth dark exterior and lifted corners bring a sculptural detail to a simple place setting.
