The Zojirushi NS-ZCC18-WZ is a Premium White household Neuro Fuzzy rice cooker and warmer with a maximum raw white-rice capacity of 10 rice-measuring cups, or 1.8 liters. Its microcomputer adjusts cooking time and temperature, while a spherical inner pan and direct-heating system support the automatic cooking cycle.

White-rice controls offer regular/sushi, softer and harder choices. Separate options cover mixed rice, porridge, sweet rice, semi-brown rice, brown rice, rinse-free rice and quick cooking. Capacity depends on the menu: this model cooks 1 to 10 regular cups of white rice, but its sushi-rice limit is 8 cups and its rinse-free white-rice limit is 8 cups.

Two supplied measuring cups serve different purposes: the regular rice cup holds approximately 180 mL, while the green rinse-free cup holds approximately 171 mL. Use the matching cup, menu and pan water line; the headline capacity is not a cooked yield or a universal limit for every grain.

The spherical nonstick inner pan has side handles, and the inner lid detaches for cleaning. A colored LCD panel provides clock and timer functions, including two stored finish times for compatible menus. The built-in retractable cord stores in the body after use.

Rice cooking changes automatically to Regular Keep Warm. Extended Keep Warm uses a lower temperature and returns to Regular Keep Warm after more than eight hours. The manual limits holding to white rice and no more than 12 hours overall. Reheat makes already-warm white rice hotter; it is not intended for cold rice or other foods.

The NS-ZCC18 requires AC 120V power and is rated at 1,000W for cooking. Zojirushi’s main product page lists exterior dimensions of 11-1/8 inches wide by 14-1/4 inches deep by 9-1/2 inches high. Zojirushi lists cETLus certification and manufacture in Japan. Leave room for the lid and escaping steam, and let the body and both lids cool before starting another batch.

Neuro Fuzzy cooking with a clear control panel

Use the NS-ZCC18-WZ control panel to select the program appropriate to the rice or grain you are preparing. Listed settings include mixed, porridge, sweet, semi-brown, brown, rinse-free and quick cooking. Match the selected program to its own measuring, water-line and batch-limit instructions; a maximum white-rice rating does not apply unchanged to every menu.

Measure and lift the spherical inner pan

The NS-ZCC18-WZ uses this removable cooking pan for measured rice batches. Its listed construction is spherical, nonstick coated, with side handles. Use the supplied rice measure and the correct menu-specific water level; the headline capacity is an uncooked-rice maximum, not a serving count. Follow the exact-model cleaning instructions and protect the pan surface from abrasive tools.

Detach the inner lid for cleaning

Remove the NS-ZCC18-WZ inner lid as directed for routine washing. The listed inner-lid design is detachable for cleaning. Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before care. Follow the separate body, inner-pan and inner-lid instructions. Do not immerse the electrical body.
