Product Overview

The 311-E brings the Eggplant motif to a compact sauce dish with rounded corners and a gently raised rim. A dark eggplant illustration and curved brown brushstroke sit inside the beige, speckled interior, giving a single sauce or accompaniment a decorative setting.

At 3⅝ inches long by 2½ inches wide, the dish fits next to an individual plate or bowl. Fill it with a small amount of dipping sauce, or use the open interior for kimchi, pickles or another condiment served separately from the main course. The melamine dish is dishwasher safe and made in China, and its beige-and-brown design coordinates with the wider Eggplant tableware family.

311-E rounded rectangular beige sauce dish with eggplant artwork

A softly outlined place for one accompaniment

Rounded corners soften the small rectangular form, while the gently raised rim surrounds the decorated interior. The eggplant artwork and brown brushstroke sit within the dish rather than on a separate colored border.

Dishwasher safe

Dishwasher-safe melamine for repeated table service.

Eggplant pattern

Dark eggplant and brown brushstroke details on a beige speckled surface.

Compact sauce format

3⅝ inches long by 2½ inches wide.

Amber dipping sauce inside the 311-E Eggplant melamine dish

Bring dipping sauce to the place setting

A shallow serving of dipping sauce leaves the rim and parts of the illustration visible. Set the dish beside sushi, dumplings or another appetizer so the dip has its own place instead of spreading across the main plate.

Kimchi served at one end of the 311-E rectangular sauce dish

Serve a small side separately

A few pieces of kimchi or pickled vegetables can be served at one end of the dish. The compact form keeps the accompaniment separate, and leaving some beige space open shows the artwork alongside the food.
