Product Overview

The KK-282 Norimaki Days mold shapes rice and fillings into a thick futomaki roll before nori is wrapped around it. A matching lid presses the rice inside the long body, offering a molded approach instead of shaping the roll with a bamboo mat.

The polypropylene body has a textured interior and a press-out area beneath the rice. Fill, press and release the formed roll, then finish with nori. The mold is made in Japan and must be washed by hand rather than placed in a dishwasher.

Shape first, then wrap the outside

Add rice and fillings to the mold and press with the lid. Release the formed rice before wrapping it in nori; this separates the shaping step from the final outer wrap instead of rolling everything together on a mat.

Prepare the surface for a cleaner release

Wet the mold before filling, then press the rice with the lid. After removing the lid, turn the body over and press its center release area gently; avoid forcing that section or using abrasive cleaning tools.

Keep the care routine separate from heat preparation

Wash the mold with dish detergent before use and clean it by hand afterward. Keep it away from flame and high-heat locations, and do not put it in a dishwasher, which can deform or damage the polypropylene body.
