Selling unit: One tub

Product Overview

The SK36 is a 14¼-inch spruce-wood rice tub with an open circular top and bands around its outer wall. It belongs to the smaller-diameter SK group, between the 13-inch SK33 and 15½-inch SK39.

The nested photograph illustrates several SK sizes rather than multiple tubs included in one order. Choose the SK36 for its stated diameter and keep the rice paddle, mat and cutting board as separate parts of the preparation setup.

Use the listed diameter to choose the size

The nested tubs illustrate the range of SK sizes. SK36 is the 14¼-inch option; compare the dimensions in the table with neighboring SK sizes. SK size range shown; one 14¼-inch SK36 tub supplied, not a set.

Spruce wood

Pale spruce forms the base and upright wall.

Banded round form

Outer bands circle the tub below its open rim.

One selected size

This listing supplies one SK36 tub from the pictured range.

Keep a clear working area around the rim

Position the paddle and shaping tools beside the tub rather than across its opening. That leaves the circular rice-preparation area available while the mat, mold and cutting board have their own space. SK size range shown; one 14¼-inch SK36 tub supplied, not a set.

Choose the next size without changing the design

SK33 and SK39 repeat the same pale, banded wooden form at smaller and larger diameters. Use those alternatives when the preparation footprint needs to change without introducing a different tub style. SK size range shown; one 14¼-inch SK36 tub supplied, not a set.
