White blossoms on a deep blue ground
The dark blue surface gives the white five-petal blossoms strong contrast, while pale leaves fill the spaces between the flowers. A gently scalloped rim traces the opening without interrupting the pattern, and a white foot provides a light break at the base. The decoration remains visible outside even when the bowl holds a small dish. Pairing it with plain white tableware gives the flowers more emphasis; the white-ground sakura companion offers the same listed dimensions with a lighter visual balance.
