A fish inside, flowers around the table
The interior fish has a field of small scales and long, dark-blue fins, set among lighter decorative areas. Around the outside, pale flowers and leaves create a different pattern at the same scale of contrast. A narrow diagonal band near the base finishes the design above the low foot. This two-sided decoration gives the main bowl a role in the place setting before and during the meal. Keep adjacent pieces plain for a calmer arrangement, or repeat the blue palette in a smaller botanical side bowl.
