This 24 cm cast iron nabe pot is designed for shared Japanese hot pot service, including sukiyaki, shabu shabu, and other nabemono. The wide 9.5" vessel accommodates approximately 3–4 diners, while the cast iron construction distributes and retains heat for tabletop cooking and serving.

In Japanese cookware terminology, this style is a tetsunabe, or iron nabe, distinguishing it from ceramic donabe cookware. The enameled interior simplifies cleaning, while the included wooden lid and trivet base complete the traditional tabletop serving configuration.
