Black Rectangular Melamine Plate (IT-Y5408B)

The IT-Y5408B black melamine plate gives an arranged course a plain rectangular setting. Raised sides surround the open center, with a slightly uneven outline that softens the long form above its low base. Sushi, appetizers or individual components of a dish can follow the plate's length, using the dark background to create contrast around lighter ingredients and colorful garnishes.

Choose this plate when the arrangement of the food should provide the main detail. Space individual pieces along the center or group a few components together with dark surface visible between them. Round black plates and shallow rectangular bowls carry the palette into other courses without repeating exactly the same shape. Wooden chopsticks and a dark tea cup complete the individual setting, while a white sauce dish gives a dipping accompaniment its own contrasting place beside the rectangular serving piece.
