Product Overview

Arrange sushi, dumplings or a small appetizer course along this 8½-inch-long rectangular plate. The White Star River design combines a pale background, a soft blue circular accent and irregular black speckles, giving the food a patterned setting with open space between the marks. Gently upturned ends shape the melamine plate and bring a slight curve to its otherwise linear outline.

Try a row of maki with ginger at one end, or a short arrangement of dumplings with dipping sauce in a separate dish. The same Star River pattern is available on longer rectangular plates, so individual servings and shared dishes can carry a consistent design.

YG-5008ST White Star River plate with a dumpling arrangement

A linear arrangement for sushi or appetizers

Use the 8½-inch length for a row of maki, dumplings or a small appetizer presentation. Add ginger at one end and place dipping sauce in a separate dish to keep the serving arrangement distinct from the dip.

A compact patterned rectangle

The 8½-inch YG-5008ST is the shortest of these three Star River rectangles. Its pale surface, blue circular accent, irregular black marks and gently upturned ends coordinate with the 11⁷⁄₁₆-inch YG-5011ST and 14½-inch YG-5014ST. Choose the shorter length for an individual appetizer rather than an extended shared selection.

Repeat Star River across different serving sizes

Choose the longer Star River plates when the menu calls for shared servings, and use this size for individual courses. The same blue accent and black speckles connect the different lengths without changing the pattern.
