Dark navy blue and lighter blue speckling give the MT265-NB a vivid backdrop for a small serving. The round plate has a broad open center, a narrow rim and a low, nearly upright outer wall. At 6½ inches across and 1 inch high, it offers a compact surface for an appetizer, a side dish or a petite dessert.

Arrange a few bites together rather than filling the entire plate; the exposed blue finish gives pale or brightly colored food a clear outline. Its straight-sided profile differs from the curved blue-and-brown MT57-NB deep plate.
