An amber edge around a quiet white center
The warm brown-gold tone is concentrated around the upper interior, becoming lighter toward the center. A narrow dark line follows the scalloped edge, and subtle radial marks give the inside a finely detailed finish. Keep the center open enough for the food to read clearly, and use a plain side dish when you want the amber band to be the strongest accent. A natural-tone handle or brown utensil can repeat the warmth without adding another glazed pattern.
