Product Overview

A long, narrow rectangle gives this ceramic platter a clear direction for arranging food. Two brown and gray-green glazed bands follow its length, separated by a gray stripe and surrounded by an uneven rim. At 12½ × 5 inches, the platter leaves a compact footprint for sushi, appetizers or a small tempura selection.

Arrange modest portions along the center and leave the ends visible rather than filling the surface from edge to edge. The glaze provides interest without a printed decorative motif. Made in Japan, the platter is dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Choose the coordinated SP295-B square plate when a wider serving field better suits the course.

A long banded serving field

Two glazed bands run almost the full length of the platter, with a gray stripe between them. The uneven edge rises around the narrow center. Keep the arrangement loose enough to show those bands, rather than concealing the finish beneath an edge-to-edge serving.
