Product Overview

A dark charcoal center stretches between ochre-colored ends on this long ceramic platter. Two pale curved strokes sweep through each warm-toned end, while an uneven raised perimeter frames the narrow serving field. Its 19½ × 6-inch dimensions provide length for spaced groups of sushi, appetizers or a modest tempura selection.

Keep the ochre ends and portions of the dark center visible so the finish remains part of the arrangement. Small groups separated by open space suit the elongated shape better than a continuous line from edge to edge. Made in Japan, the platter is dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Compare the equally long turquoise platter for a lighter finish, or a shorter rectangle when less table space is available.

Warm ends around a dark center

Ochre-colored areas occupy opposite ends of the platter, each crossed by two pale curved strokes. The dark center shows a textured sheen within the uneven rim. Leave portions of both finishes exposed to keep the decoration visible alongside the serving.
